ECLIPSE E200 POL

Overview
The Nikon Eclipse E200 POL is a cost-effective, compact polarizing microscope that brings real polarimetry capabilities into a space-saving design. Built on Nikon’s CFI60 infinity optical system, it offers excellent image clarity, high numerical aperture, and long working distance. Its body is based on the E200 biological microscope, allowing compatibility with many Eclipse-series accessories and objectives. The E200 POL includes a built-in Bertrand lens for conoscopic observation, a rotary stage with fine vernier control, and a slider that accommodates a combined quarter-wave (¼ λ) and red tint plate. Loading and switching between filters is easy, and the lamp is user-replaceable from the top, making maintenance simple. A refocusing rotating stage mechanism helps prevent sample damage, making it ideal for routine polarizing microscopy in educational labs, geology, and materials science applications.
