Overview

The Nikon Eclipse LV100N POL LED is a high-performance polarizing microscope designed to deliver exceptional stability, optical clarity, and durability for advanced materials research. Built on Nikon’s CFI60 infinity-optics platform, this instrument offers long working distances and high numerical aperture, giving you crisp, high-contrast images under both transmitted (diascopic) and reflected (episcopic) light. The built-in, high color-rendering LED illuminator minimizes heat and focus drift while providing consistent, uniform lighting — ideal for sensitive or temperature-sensitive samples. With a robust 30 mm focus stroke, a precise 360° rotatable graduated stage, and a centering quintuple nosepiece with a DIN compensator slot, the LV100N POL LED supports both qualitative and quantitative polarizing microscopy. The integrated intermediate tube includes a Bertrand lens for conoscopic and orthoscopic observations, and the analyzer rotates smoothly through 360°. This microscope is engineered for demanding polarizing applications, whether for geological, metallurgical, or industrial inspection purposes, combining precision mechanics with long-term reliability.
