Overview

The ECLIPSE Ci‑E is Nikon’s motorized upright microscope designed for high‑throughput lab and clinical settings where rapid switching between magnifications is required. With LED Eco‑illumination that offers a long lifespan and uniform brightness, the Ci‑E reduces maintenance and energy costs. It features motorized magnification switching via buttons on the body or a remote pad, and intelligently remembers the ideal light intensity for each objective. Ergonomically built, it supports a natural viewing posture with a tilting and extendable eyepiece tube, and a height‑adjustable stage that minimizes strain during frequent sample changes. An image‑capture button on the base makes integrating digital imaging seamless when paired with Nikon cameras and NIS‑Elements software. The Ci‑E is versatile, supporting multiple observation modes including brightfield, phase contrast, darkfield, polarization, and fluorescence.
