Overview
The ECLIPSE Ci‑S is the halogen-illuminated variant of the Ci series, aimed at users who prefer traditional lamp technology. It retains the same ergonomic design, stable stage, and ease-of-use features as the Ci‑E, but uses a 6 V, 30 W halogen light source. The Ci‑S maintains consistent brightness through built-in ND filters and an automatic intensity reproduction system, giving reliable performance at different magnifications. It also offers the same flexible viewing posture, durable ceramic‑coated stage, and simple image capture via the base-mounted button. Like the Ci‑E, it allows a broad range of observation methods — from brightfield to advanced fluorescence — making it suitable for both routine lab work and specialized applications.
